The rest of the day we were nervous wrecks. The youngster has continued to drink and do well. Mother is recovering, and we're coping quite well with the injections. Today things are looking quite good, but we are acutely aware that the vet said the first 24 - 48 hours were crucial for mum.

Mum is looking a bit of a train wreck at the moment, but we're hopeful!

We've named him Baldr after a norse god.
