Well, our first two weeks in Sweden are pretty much up, and it's an ideal time to look and see where we stand on the carbon front.
Unfortunatey it's been a killer two weeks carbon wise; first was the drive to-and-from Heathrow to take the animals to be transported, then a drive to Harwich, followed by a drive across Denmark to Sweden, and a 700 mile round trip to Stockholm to pick up the animals. This should result in an awful set of figures. We didn't set a target, as such, for carbon as this was going to be difficult, as all electric in Sweden is fossil fuel free. In the UK our carbon dioxide level was 4692Kg per year, or 391kg per month. In the last two weeks we generated the equivalent of 91.87kg of CO2 per month. Not bad for a "bad month". We'll see how things continue.
